How to Remove Dark Circles Under Eyes, Naturally.

Dark circles are a super common problem in the modern world. With the amount of stress that we constantly put our minds and bodies under, it can be a struggle to keep those unwanted dark circles away.

Dark circles appearing under your eyes aren’t caused only by stress, there are quite a few other contributors including:

  • ½ Potato Medium Size.
  • ¼ Cucumber.

Directions:

  1. Juice the potato and cucumber. If you don’t have a juicer, grate and strain instead.
  2. Add in the honey, stir until combined.
  3. Cool in fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Apply to dark spots and dark under eye circles.
  5. Leave for 15-20 minutes, then wash off with cool water.
  6. Repeat for 3 days (or more if dark spots are severe).

TIP: On the third day, use the left over mixture as a face mask for a naturally healthy glow.

Potato is a delicious food with a wide variety of uses, it can be very helpful when it comes to treating dark eye circles, dark spots, and naturally lightening the skin.

Raw potato contains nutrients that reduce the appearance of ageing and wrinkles in the skin. Now your thinking why haven’t I been doing this before, right?

Containing the catecholase enzyme, potato is effective in reducing dark spots, blemishes and acne scars.

Honey

Last but definitely not the least is honey. The natural, sweet, incredible food is well known for it’s many, many health benefits.

What you may not know yet but surely won’t come as a surprise is that honey is great for your skin. It is packed full of antioxidants and goodness. The antioxidants can help to slow down the ageing process of the skin, and help with naturally reducing wrinkles.

Honey is naturally antibacterial, it can aid with breakouts around the eyes, and face. At the end of the 15 minutes it will leave the face feeling soothed and glowing.

Make sure you’re using raw honey with no addititives, etc. Don’t use the honey that is full of sugar and flavouring, it is highly processed and will not work.

 

 

Tips to reduce puffiness and dark eye circles.

1. Sleep

Fatigue is a massive contributor to having dark circles under your eyes, and sleeping properly is a very important part of the day. It is for repairing, growing and refreshing our minds for the next day.

We take a lot of information throughout the day and we need time to process this information. When we sleep, it is almost as if a filing system is activated to sort and file this information. Imagine if you put all of your mail in the one pile on your desk for 10 years, it would be seriously hard to find something you wanted.

Be sure to get your 8 hours of sleep every night, your health is more important than your job.

 

2. Frozen peas

The first step to fixing an injury when I was young was either cold meat or frozen peas, and then 2 hours later I would be doing the same thing that got be the bruise. Nowadays its “Take this pill to help”.

Applying something cold underneath your eye will help to reduce and swelling and inflammation.

 

3. Moisturiser

Moisturiser is great way to get the skin underneath your eyes hydrated and circulating. You can also buy a moisturiser with different vitamins and minerals to quicken the process.

Try using a moisturiser and lightly massage in circular motions to help with circulation and rejuvenate your eyes.

Added vit E or Aloe Vera are both really good additives to a moisturiser.
