We’ve all had a little too much fun at some point which has resulted in waking up the next morning feeling like a demon is inside. It’s really not a good feeling to have.

- 2 oranges
- 100g cucumber
- 100g papaya
- 1/2 inch of fresh ginger
- Peel the oranges and papaya.
- Wash the cucumber and ginger.
- Juice all of the ingredients together and serve with a small amount of ice (ice is optional).
What causes a hangover?
The hangover that you get from drinking too much is mainly caused by your body being dehydrated, and ingesting toxins.
So the quickest way to recover and cure your hangover is hydrate and flush the toxins from your body.
Makes sense right.
How does it work?
Oranges are a great source of vitamin C which may help your body to retain glutathione. Glutathione is an antioxidant that helps your body remove alcohol from your system. The more alcohol consumed, the more depleted your glutathione becomes.
Cucumbers contain b vitamins and electrolytes that will replenish those lost from drinking. Cucumbers will help to ease your throbbing headache as well as flushing nasty toxins from your system.
Papaya is a fruit that contains a digestive enzyme called papain which assists with digestion. Papain helps with easing symptoms of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and aids in calming the digestive system.
Ginger is used commonly in eastern medicine to improve digestion and eliminate nausea. Ginger also helps to speed up digestion and reduces stomach discomfort.
