Secondly, a detox shouldn’t really need to go for 14 days or so. One day a week or fortnight is enough, as long as you’re doing it right.

What else is needed? Exercise. Even if you go for a 30 minute walk around the block or a quick jog. Exercise will improve your digestion and aid in the detox process.

There are many important steps in detoxing, and one is to get enough fluids into your body. We have included a healthy beverage packed with vitamin C, and it tastes absolutely amazing.

The other step involve proper nutrition, relaxation, reducing stress levels, and exercising. We can get into that later on.

Lemon & Mint

Ingredients:

  • 1 juice of fresh lemon
  • 1 cup of fresh mint
  • 2 litres of water

Method:

  1. Juice lemon and pour into tea infuser container.
  2. Crush mint lightly with fingers and put into tea infuser.
  3. Fill with water and put in fridge to cool.

This lemon and mint detox beverage is incredibly good for you. The lemon contain pectin which will help in keeping your cravings under control. Lemons also contain a high amount of vitamin C to boost your immune system.

Mint is known for easing and speeding up digestion, as well as soothing indigestion.
